I have been in a LOT lately, I would go out in a heartbeat. It is always good to celebrate, it is a happy thing to do

I try to avoid my birthday celebrations. Of course, I'm 53 and don't want the reminder:).

I think people feel like they need to go out because society makes it look like being introverted is somehow bad and uninteresting :S If you like to stay in, by all means do it!!

I hate my own birthday. Being the centre of attention and all. I always look for excuses not to attend the festivities myself.

I hate my own birthday. Being the centre of attention and all.I find this gets even worse with age. I much prefer to organize birthday celebrations for other people.

I stay home and order in food I like, watch movies I like, and possibly go out alone to get myself a present. Every year I have to argue people out of making a party or plans but I hate to go out on my birthday.
