i have been on bupropion 75 mg sr. its quite good for increasing my concentration and working memry("cache") . but it is also giving me extreme anxiety,panic attacks, irregular heartbeats, dry mouth. once i added 5mg selegeline with it and miracaleously lifted the above symptoms ,earlier i had also treid escitalpram (b/w 20-5mg doses) but it destryoyed my learning abilites. i just took the bup+sele combo for 2 days as i was short of time (exam) and i also have been prescribed ritalin. so i started the ritalin and bupropion together . ritaline is 30mg (3x10) and bupr is 75mg sr once. its a good combination since the bupropion is helping with the depresion caused by ritalin. but when i take selegline with these two i am generaly feeling much better . and the anxiety (GAD ) is perfecty nulled. another advantage is that it relieves the headaches and irritabilty which start to kick after 4 hrs of taking ritalin.
i hav been using bupropion for approx 5 months continously and its the only thing besides ritalin that works for me. but its effects are not consistent and not as effective in all departmetns of my problmes. ritaline alone is excellent but it gives me depressions,anxiety(also caused by taking bupropion alone but gone if i take bupropion+selgeline,bupropion+ritaline,bupropion+e scitalprm) and panic attacks. i dont know when both are giveing me alomost the same side effects,how do they cancel each othes (side effects). but it does work. and works "smoothly". especially adding bupropin to ritaline smothes the jiternis,anxiety and palpitations.
i am very much inclied to the combination of selgeline and ritaline(ie. to replace bupropion wiht selegiline since i am taking bup primarily to remove the anxiety and depressions exaggerated by ritaline ).since the antianxiety effect of seleglien one me is far far better then xanax with the added advantage of no negative effects on concentration.. but i have only taken just 4 tablest of selgeline so may be after sometime ti poops out.. ANY INPUT on this issue.
what i want to know safe/effective it is ? any one using any of these combo (i.e. selgelin+bupropin OR selglini+rita OR all the three for concentration/attention/motivation and).(my choice is selgeline 2.5/5mg +30mg ritaline).
