After extensive reading of dex and adderall behaviors, I have decided that each case is highly individualized. I have been reading these forums to find likenesses of my own situation to no avail. I currently take 30mg IR Adderall in am and another IR 10mg at noon. The effect that seems to work doesn't happen until about 2-3 hrs into the morning dose. The noon dose of 10mg serves to maintain the effect achieved. My desire is to try an IR Dex instead of Adderall. It is also my understanding that the various analogs of d-amphetamine in Adderall eventually convert to plain d-amp, slowing the passage of the total dose of d-amp by the blood-brain barrier. It is my hope that a dose of IR Dex would hasten the effect the Adderall is a bit slow in achieving. I look very forward to response. Thanks in advance!!

It may be that your dose is a bit high. When my dose is too high I feel a bit flat and 'slow', a bit dazed and confused. The levels of adderall in your body might be starting to fall at around 3 hours? Just an idea. You might metabolize adderall slower than usual, do you find it lasts a long time?
