Has anyone tried both adderall and vyvanse? I was wondering how the mg of the two compare. Like what mg of adderall would compare to 50mg vyvanse? Any experience with the two please reply!

Vyvanse:Adderall dosing. Vyvanse is 30% amphetamine and 70% lysine (amino acid/protein). Since Vyvanse is metabolized hepatically via digestion it takes smaller amounts of amphetamine to acheive similar results of oral amphetamine (Adderall and Dexedrine).

20mg:5mg
30mg:10mg
40mg:15mg
50mg:20mg
60mg:25mg
70mg:30mg

Similar in many ways, your mileage may vary. My experience is that Vyvanse is 100% consisent in how it works. Reaches the max level in 4-5 hours then starts to fall off. Adderall XR is not as consistent but when it works well it can work a little longer for me given the release profile of the medication.

Unlike many on this forum, I tend to like Adderall a little more than regular Dexedrine/Vyvanse. Gives me a little more of a kick in the butt to get motivated.
