I am a very crazy person, crazy as in living my own life to the fullest but with a few obstacles in my way..1 of them for is Adderall! Ok well as u can tell by the name I love to rave and one of the things I hate is Adderall! I don't hate it cause its a drug I hate it because everytime I am around it I want to eat a whole bottle, I start off with about 20mg and withing 4 hours up to 70mg, Its all fun and game till it wares off as I have Severe Anxiety and Depression = /...I know one would ask "Well why the F would you do it if ur gonna have an Anxiety attack over the damn stuff" Well its not as easy as it seems...I do it thinking Im going to love it wich I do for the first few hours but then when im coming down for the next day or two all I can think about is OMG did I OD, am I dying, should I tell anyone....Not good thoughts at all, when in reality Im not dying....I just want to Know what all of you have to say and listen to ur Preffered Suggestion.

If you have not been diagnosed with AD(H)D and you do not have a prescription for Adderal then please, please do not take it recreationally. If not for your own sake then do it for mine. Back in the day, it was assumed that it would. Today we know better. Your symptoms may have reduced but the ADHD is right where it always was. Brain chemistry works that way.

Considering your attraction to what would be illegal stimulants for you, perhaps your ADHD is still around. Stimulant addiction is very common among untreated ADHDers.

i'm not trying to offend you crazyraver, but you sound very immature, and part of that immaturity is evident in the way you responded to Retromancer's post by using expressions such as "Lol you make me wanna take more haha" and "OMG lol". of course, those are just expressions of rhetoric that attempt to portray disdain and indifference towards an opinion you dislike, which seems to suggest that you lack of control over your emotions, which is often, in turn, a sign of immaturity.

in addition, your immaturity is evident in the way you describe your misuse (if not abuse) of medication for the sole purpose of, as you say, 'fun and games'. i'm not criticizing your use of certain drugs for recreational purposes (how could i? i have done and still do on occasion use illicit drugs); rather, i'm criticizing your attitude and (maybe) your intention in posting on this forum.

that leads me to the question: what is your intention? is it to show off to others how you misuse prescription medication for recreational purposes? or is it to get (honest) help and advice in overcoming any problems you may be experiencing? i hope it's the latter. but either way, you have to be prepared to accept some frank and honest responses.

and the response from me is: if you are suffering from anxiety and depression, then taking stimulant medication for purposes other than reducing the symptoms of ADHD is going to worsen your situation (i too suffered from depression and i too found the 'coming down' from drugs almost intolerable). therefore, i suggest you see a professional and explain your situation honestly.
