Found myself in a very emotional and stressful work situation this morning. It was late morning and my 20mg dose of Adderall was still working. I found it very difficult to remain poised during a heated discussion. I didn't blurt out anything that was hurtful or damaging. But it was tough to stay controlled. In many ways I stayed in control better than without the medication. I didn't lose it in spite of the temptation. I was careful in followup conversations. But in the heat of the moment it was tough. Without the medication I would have likely not let it go and followed up in inappropriate ways.

Just wondering. What do you do to "chill out" when the medication is working and emotions are running high?

Try to walk away from the situation... Take a breather.

IR doses did this to me also, IR has a very high peak where it over-stimulates even if for a short period of time, regardless of dose level...also make sure not take on empty stomach

i take vyvanse now, that doesnt happen
