I find that Ritalin actually helps my focus tremendously. I take 20mgs morning and noon. Then 10mgs about 4:00 pm. I will say though that the duration sucks as it on;y last about 2-3 hours. attention 02-13-09, 01:13 PM Yer thanks, but that wasn't what i was seeking reasurrance in. I'v read of folks taking moderate dose Dexedrine, Desoxyn for several decades with little ill effect, and of course read of the whole "speeed kills-burnout" thing.. Any feedback on years of treatment, doses, drug, ill effects? Thanks r0manescu 02-14-09, 12:12 PM yeah I don't think methlyphenidate has the same down-regulation/terminal damage effect that amphetamine has. It might have temporary downregulation but nothing long term. Imnapl 02-15-09, 12:00 AM Yer thanks, but that wasn't what i was seeking reasurrance in.
