Hi everybody I was wondering if this happens to other people and it's just not me. I seem to burp a lot when I'm on adderall, it feels like there are little bubbles in my stomach and if I don't burp I get an annoying stomache. Also lately I've been getting lower back pain. I notice they're more intense as the Adderall wears out, which is during the evening. Anybody out there with the same problem? Will this also go away? I hope so because it's starting to get really annoying and embarrassing, having to burp a lot :( Thanks again. Take care.

Lower back pain MAY be posture related. My working hypothesis is that I was more inclined to get up and move about before I started taking Adderall. With it, I am better able to sit and remain on task for longer periods of time.

I find that when I set reminders to get up and stretch for about five minutes of each hour, I don't have the pain.

One of the things I learned quickly with the Adderall is to take a couple of Tums with water about 10 minutes before I take the med. Otherwise, I have a very unhappy tummy.

Hi, I'm going to reply to my own thread, I just thought it might help somebody with the same problem. Like I mentioned I've been having this annoying lower back pain once I started taking Adderall, I read somewhere here that adderall can make you dehydrated, well, I thought about that and was thinking about how much water I actually drink thruout the day and I really don't drink enough. Somebody told me once that one sign of dehydration can be back pain. My pain was really intense yesterday and now I know why. I worked out extra hard yesterday, sweated a lot, even got in the sauna aftewards and I know I wasn't drinking enough water. I woke up today still with back pain so I started drinking water like there's no tomorrow, it's almost 7:00 p.m. here and my back pain is gone. I will see if there's a difference now that I'm going to really watch my water intake. Now about the burping I still have no idea why it makes me do that, still hoping somebody can give me an answer to that one. Well take care everybody.

When I first started taking Adderall XR, I started getting really bad lower back pain in my left kidney region. It would come and go throughout the day, dealing a sharp pain for a few seconds and I started having worries that it was somehow related to a formed/forming kidney stone. However, after a bit of research and looking back on my posture, I kind of noticed that I tend lean back at an angle when I'm sitting (which is almost all the time, yayyy school lol). So I adjusted my posture from that diagonal, slouching down, relaxingly angle in a chair, and started sitting straight up. Needless to say, the pain disappeared within a day and hasn't returned since.

One theory I have, was that maybe adderall plays some role in increasing muscular strain. I had always sat that way, but it wasn't until taking Adderall that it became a painful problem.
