has anyone tried pristiq for depression or GAD?

I'm on Pristiq right now for depression, it doesn't seem to be working.... just like every other god damn anti-depressant. It's primary effect its had is raising my blood pressure to stage 2 hypertension, and giving me panic attacks.

I got bad anxiety on it as well. Although some people not prone to anxiety may do better

Pristiq was the first drug that my doctor prescribed for me. After being on it for about a month, I couldn't handle it anymore.

Problems I had with it:
- Headaches
- Dizzy all the time
- Nausea
- Frequent lethargy
- Strange tingling on the left side of my head every so often :/

As with all medications, remember that they all work differently. I am also on Buproprion and I have a theory that was somehow conflicting with it. I've read that they are supposed to be good together but then others were saying that you get too much of a release from the two together (since they work with the same SSRI's or whatever *forgot the technicals*) and that would explain why I felt like someone punched me in my brain haha
