I need to make more *&^%^$#@ money!

We're spiraling further into debt. This city has no *&^%$#@ jobs in it. My qualifications are worthless, and we have too much debt to go back to school and get more.

Where the hell can I go to get a job that will pay more than minimum wage?

The government promises that they will supplement your wage here if you have ADHD. Which is great, but nobody hires someone disabled for a really good job...

sigh.......

That sucks that you are frustrated. I could use some good advice myself!
Where do you live that the government will supplement your income? Is it like that here?
When you figure it out let me know! I am desperatley seeking a new job.

Hugs to you, clammo....I know what it's like to not be able to find a job worth anything. Don't give up though. I am sure things will get better. :D

I know how you feel Mr Clam!
I'm living in the North does limit your job opportunities. I'm currently working for the worst boss I've ever had ("undiagnosed ADHD & primarily hypomanic bipolar II with illusions of grandure and paranoia" - but not the good kind), for peanuts, with not a lot of opportunities within an hr's drive. As much as I hate the city, I may have to move back to Toronto to land a decent paying job.
If you've ever had the notion to start your own business, there are programs to help you set that up, I think. "Ontario Works" has all kinds of programs to help people find work - you might have to be unemployed for some of them - but they also have a lot of resources that I'll bet anyone can use. Check out your local employment office and see whats available in your area - I was surprised by what they had the first time I went in.
Good Luck,
Greg

Paul: You seem to have some great computer skills.....Would you qualify for a job in IT or programming, etc.?

Just letting you know my thoughts are with you WW. I think the others have given good advice and I do not have any great insight.

Hey Clammo....now might be a good time to start some researching on frugality on the web...plenty of good sites out there. I had to start learning how to really be thrifty when I quit my job last year. If you wanna know some good sites, PM me. There's lots of good info out there on energy saving, etc....that helps when money is tight.

Hugs!
