Hey there,
I can't handle the PNS stim of Adderall, I wanted dex buy my doc said it wouldnt make a difference, so he gave me wellbutrin, I've yet to try it yet.
Has anyone else gone through this switch before? Can you tell me of your experience?

Much like a low dose of adderall but longer lasting. It is in the same family of meds so until your tolerance builds you might experience anxiety. On the brightside though, it encompassess the antidepressant benefit (along with the ADD treatment), without making you drowsy. For the calming effect you'd get with dex - your body needs to build a tolerence. You'll likely feel speedy in the begining, but it will subside - so don't give up. I've found the improved focus aspect of WB to be it's most pronounced ADD benefit - and this comes rather quickly.

Awesome.
That sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.
Anyone else with wellbutrin + adderall experience?

Y'know, I've been on Adderall, and it made me feel really drugged. While I did have issues with insomnia for a few days and decreased appetite for a few weeks, I never really felt speedy or drugged, just clearer and more energized.

didn't you just contradict yourself , you stated adderall made you feel really drugged and then you stated that it didnt make you feel drugged and that it made you feel more energized and focused

I'm sorry, I meant Wellbutrin didn't make me feel drugged but clear and energized. Not being the clearest today apparently :(

Yes. In my experience, I couldn't tolerate Adderall, but I only could give it a few days test drive- it would have interfered with work too much so I had to go off it. I went on Wellbutrin a few months later, and am on it currently. My sig has the details. I often supplement with daily caffeine, however, but not much- a shot of espresso every once in a while or a redbull or two.
I'm curious how long the OP has tried Adderall, how much she was on, if it was generic, ect.
