today is my first day on wellbutrin, it's my first adhd management medication. i'm really not sure what to expect. should i expect anything? i guess i'm still a bit lost in it.
anything you'd like to say would be welcomed.

I had trouble sleeping, and decreased appetite at first, but those things subsided, the sleep thing more quickly than the appetite problem. WB worked for me for awhile.
Also, look around and search for side effects in the "Search This Forum" tab in the upper right hand corner of the Wellbutrin forum. You should fine more information there.

my question wasn't clear at all. i'm not really thinking about side effects. what i'm thinking about is how will things be different? i'm taking this foreign substance so something should occur. how does the condition change?

Tiny,
When the WB works as perscibed for ADHD, you should be able to foucus easier for longer periods, be less distracted: In summary, you should be:
MORE FOCUSED and PAYING ATTENTION Better
MORE ORGANIZED and LOOSE FEWER THINGS
REMEMBER TO DO Things and MEET OBLIGATIONS
START TASKS or Projects and COMPLETE them
WB covers the same neurotransmitters as Adderall, and the main one that Straterra covers.
Plan on feeling somewhat speedy and being less sleepy with an appetite reduction - until your tolerence builds. A lot of folks experience the speed-like effects and drop-off, but stick it out a few weeks, and the effects should disappate.
Let us know how it is going.

how soon until i begin to see the differences? i'm taking 150mg/day for a week then 300mg/day from there on.

Tiny,
I felt the focus and organizational impact right away, but everybody's different. Although WB is without a doubt a stimulant - maximum benefit occurs when the main (most adderall-like) metobolite builds up in your system, hence why the 4 week window before full theraputic benefit occurs. WB is not as much a jolt to your system as Adderall, but I know that I feel a consistent subtel stimulation. Just like Adderall, the side effects will decrease with time. Your in the hardest period now, as this is when the speedy/heart racing effects are most noticable. When I wanted to give it up, but, if you just stick it out - they will subside.
