Alright, so I usually take my One a Day multivitamin before I go to bed, but today I took it this morning a few minutes apart from my stimulant. And IT WAS WEIRD!!!!! I had already taken a pill earlier, so I was able to concentrate, but after I took the multivitamin I completely lost the ability to concentrate. Throughout the day I took three more ADD pills to try and be able to do SOMEthing productive, but I never recovered. For the whole day I had a lot of strange and unique symptoms. I was foggy, very stressed, tingly feet, VERY COLD, a little paranoid, I heard and saw some things in a different way (much improved vision, kind of distorted sounds), and wanted to sleep even though I'd had a full nights rest before. (no it is not pms)
I know this is really weird. But does anyone know what it could have been and why? Now it's nighttime and I still feel a slight affect from it (never got my concentration back, was always tired, still stressed). Just why would a stupid little vitamin affect my day so much? Never takin' this thing in the morning again.

I take a multivitamin also, always at night because of the Vitamin C in it. Personally, even taking mine at night can cause me to feel a little weird, although not as extreme as you are reporting. ???? Not sure why. I get the tingly feeling, especially my scalp. It only lasts an hour or so, then goes away. I'm interested if anyone has a scientific explanation for this.
I take my Vit. D and B Complex with my Addy and I've never noticed anything similar to the multivitamin, so it must be something else that's in it.

The tingly feeling you both get could be a mild niacin flush.
The other symptoms you mentioned could be due to overstimulation. The vitamin C could have caused your extended release pill to release all at once giving you a higher dose than you're used to.

So you took 4 times your normal dose of adderall, an extremely strong, heavily restricted amphetamine, and you are wondering if your symptoms are from an over the counter vitamin. DOH!!

That's what I'm thinking too.

It could be iodine. Iodine and amphetamines can make your thyroid go haywire

This was it! This was the answer. Thank you.

Nah, my normal dose is three pills in a day. I took one more than I should have.
