When I first switched to barr adderall I remember saying that I tasted blood. I have allergies so I passed if off as a nasal drip taste. Now after that time, whenever I blow my nose I see blood on the tissue and it hasn't changed. I am not getting huge nose bleeds or anything, I am just seeing blood on my tissue. My throat is sore because of allergies I'm pretty sure....but I am worried about blood possibly dripping down my throat into my lungs? I just remember when my cousin got into an accident and cut his tongue....they had to operate fast because blood was getting into his lungs. I have never had a nosebleed in my life and I am not seeing and cuts in my nose so this has to be the adderall. Is this dangerous?

Oh and I do not believe I am have high blood pressure. I know that could cause nose bleeds but my hear rate isn't abnormally fast. I have never been told I had high blood pressure in the past. I'm young, not obese, don't smoke or drink.

I used to get pretty severe congestion. In the winter when the air was dry and cold my nose would dry out and I would get sores in my upper nasal passages that would leave a little tinge of blood on my tissue occasionally. Adderall actually helped my congestion.

Adderall can dehydrate you. Maybe you aren't getting as much water as you need and your nose is drying out? I don't think you will have any serious issues with aspirating tiny amounts of blood and mucous.

Yeah, Adderall is like spraying yourself with dryness. If I take Adderall and then go to sleep, I will get a nosebleed when I wake up because I have to be drinking water every 5 minutes or something. Bleargh.
