I'm suggesting to my doctor that i wish to add Wellbutrin to my dosing regime of Adderall.
reasons are:
Financial worries and complicated family issues are causing what i feel is a mild depression. My prior ability to cope and "muttle thru somehow" has now become more of struggle.
I'm increasingly lacking an interest in social activities and find myself wanting more to be alone. Invitations from my friends go ignored or an excuse is fabricated.
I've somehow managed not to care about my attire or how i look outside of work. On my days off i don't feel much like doing anything but sitting in the house and watching tv or spending far too many hours on the internet. I don't fix my hair, or apply make-up and have found myself in the same clothes for two days. This so far has not resonated to my work appearance, but fear that it might if behavior continues.
My smoking is excessive, especially when beginning Adderall.
I'm happy with my progress with the Adderall. I've no loss of appetite, my sleep habits are mostly normal, and i've had limited side effects that cause no concern or need to stop the drug. I dont wish to lose my concentration, focus and calm that i've achieved while taking the medication, however recent personal circumstances have added a depression that i feel needs to be addressed.
All that said, could i have some advice how to approach the subject with my Psyche and what would be a good dose? What dosing are you on and how effective is it for you? I've read that when combined with adderall, wellbutrin could be quite a benefit.
share with me your experience if i might pry.
