Hey guys,

I currently take Adderall and Ritalin (not at the same time) and I am trying to figure out which is best for me or what else to try. 10 MG of Adderall works wonders, but I get some strange side-effects that I don't like. 10 MG of Ritalin, barely does anything focus wise, but I get no side effects except for some palpitations. (Unless 10mg of Ritalin is to low?)

Just wondering if anyone here has been in a similar situation as me and found a "middle ground" type medicine that doesn't have the crazy side-effects from Adderall but works better than Ritalin.

I started out on 10mgs of Ritalin, but it didn't do anything.

Are you following doctors orders by trying both meds? If you are, then maybe the 10mgs of Ritalin isn't enough.

I had to go up to 20mgs and that did the trick for me.

Remember that Ritalin and Adderall are not the same mg for mg. Meaning that 10 mg of Adderall isn't the same as 10mg of Ritalin.

I will talk to my doctor about raising the Ritalin dosage a little and see if that makes a difference or not.

I am glad you like the name, it's from a book I read a while ago called The First King of Shannara by Terry Brooks. Kinson Ravenlock was the full name.
