So I'm probably switching back to adderall and i'm wondering if anyone has noticed any significant difference between the brands. I know that you don't really know how each brand is going to effect you until you try it but info is still a good thing.
so any pros/cons of brands would be awesome!
I had read a while back that the Barr 20mg (they're round and pink) were not working for people. I used to work in a pharmacy and I was convinced it was all BS. So i traded one of mine which are the like peach ones which was also 20mg, and i actually completely agreed. Now maybe it was just in my warped little head or something but i swear it did not work like the other generic.
Interested if anyone else has an opinion?
I've had barr, sandoz and a third brand so far, and I hated barr. I would crash horribly, it wouldn't work nearly as well, fast or strong, it would wear off very fast and I frequently got an irrated stomach. So now I'm back to sandoz and the difference is like day and night.

I, too, have have tried three different generics; Sandoz, Barr and Chorephorma. I have to say that the crash on Sandoz is smoother.
Did a little bit more research, the 20mg IR i was talking about was by Corepharma and apparently there's kind of a controversy. Some say it's wonderful and works better/smoother, and some say it's not nearly as potent. I am definitely in the 2nd half! But I guess it just depends on the person...like everything else.

Corepharma was the first brand I tried. I took 20mg. An hour later I was really buzzed and didn't know how to handle it, so I just kind of drifted for most of the day.
Barr was significantly less dramatic, but it made me jittery and depressed. I'm talking really depressed. The titration process was like an acid trip gone terribly wrong. I finally got the right dosage but it was needlessly high and I still didn't feel right when I was on it.
Looking back, Corepharma was much more potent. I don't know if either one is a good idea for me, but it is kind of interesting considering most people say the opposite.

Corepharma distributes the round and pink ones, not Barr.
I've had similiar experiences to yours. The Corepharma version of Adderall felt more like a "filler" pill.
I couldn't even tell if it was working or not.
Needless to say, I ended up falling asleep in class 20 minutes after I took it, and complained to the pharmacist for changing my normal generic "Barr" Adderall to a substituted sugar pill.
