Im on adderall 15mg xr in the morn and 15mg at 2pm it didnt work so i crushed the orange bead and put them back in and tooka nother at 6 tonight My heart is pounding what do I do? I know I maded a mistake i wont do it again but what do i do now????

If you have orange juice in the house, go get about four ounces and drink it. Absolutely NO sugar, caffeine, fruit, or anything stimulating.

If you feel that it is an emergency, call 911 or go immediately to the ER.

XR is designed to have two releases. It is generally taken once daily. You may not get much sleep tonight.

An old trick- lay comfortably on your back with your eyes closed and lightly lay your fingertips over your eyelids. Stay that way for several minutes. My dad learned that from his cardiologist to manage rapid heart beat. I use it and it works for me.
