We had our P.E.T. meeting this morning. Everything went ok. I asked to tape the meeting and they would not let me because they did not have a tape so they could tape it.

They agreed to do a 504 plan on him. Told me he is doing much better since on meds. So that is good.

He has no learning disability, but does qualify under other for the ADHD. They are going to work with him to try and catch him up where he fell behind the past couple of years.

I went in there armed with all the information from the Maine Parent Federation and a tape recorder. I think I finally made them realize I was not giving up.

One battle won and I am sure there will be more later.
