Id like to start a group for parents to help out there children and know the laws but I have no idea how to go about this . Anyone have any ideas? Anyone ever started a group? Im in a small hick town and there is no resourses here besides counsling . I would like to start something so that if others have questions they can ask one in other or if a parent believes there child has add/adhd ... also info about it and what the schools involvment should be .
Steph...You could check Local Forums for Missouri and see if there is any place close to ya...OR I found it helpful to go to CHADD website and ask for info. ;) Hope it works out.

haha mel .. .. PTA is basically a meeting where the snobs meet at and they all think alike if anyone thinks differntly they are shund out . I guess I'll have to figure out all this on my own .. I'll try to remmber to bring it up to my sons counslour today ( try to remmber is the key word) . Maybe he will have some insight on it.
Today is going to be a very very very busy day ... Running around the south west part of the state lol
Contact CHADD http://www.chadd.org and ask them for info on starting a new chapter.
There's also been a new AD/HD group added to Meetup.com http://addcare.meetup.com/
