I normally take 18mg concerta in the morning but I have some 10mg adderall xr's lying around and I was wondering if I could take it in the evening when I am driving back. I wanted to make sure that I am alert and in focus when I drive back since without the meds my driving is not the best.

Is there any problem with that? I`ll be taking my concerta 18mg at around 5-6am in the morning and it lasts 10-12 hours I think. I`ll likely be taking the adderall in the evening around 4pm or so.

Look in the Vyvanse forums - there are several posts regarding taking a booster of an IR. Some have mentioned Ritalin boosters. That's the closest analogy that I can think of.

Maybe you can call a 24-hour pharmacy and ask the pharmacist? It's obviously too late to call your doctor.

What did you end up doing? Did it work?
