in the beginning on dex I was able to hyperfocus while having a lucid laser-like mental clarity that allowed me to understand what I read instantly. now however, I can still hyperfocus on something but I don't have that same lucid laser-like cognitive processing ability like before. I have to read things a few times before I can understand it.

anyone know what I'm talking about?

demitriden sounds like you could use an adjustment on your meds.

I thought so too, but I wasn't sure if that state of lucid laser-like mental clarity was just a temporary effect from the first few days of introducing the drug into my system..

I had the exact same experience (I'm on spansules). Let me know if re-dosing helped. I just assumed the "lucid laser-like clarity" was too good to last, was maybe "euphoria," and didn't really "chase it." But I'm willing to admit that maybe I've set my treatment expectations too low.

Sounds like it. Dex Spansules are the extended-release version of Dex IR.
