Ohh god....it was one of those ADD moments that will go down in history as one of the messiest cases of forgetting I've had yet.
Let's just say their was ice cream on the floor, on the counter, on the toaster, on the coffee maker, on the packages of bread, and on all the cereal boxes. I bet there is ice cream in places I still havn't found yet too...
How could I forget to put the ice cream away yet remember to wash the bowl and remember to put the chocolate syrup away.

been there, done that.... last time was the milk about a month ago
Adders do best with the ice cream that has a lid on top, opposed to the folding carton!!!

Today, I was wondering if I should eat the sour cream I left out overnight last night. Tasted O.K.
wait...wut?

i remembered an hour and a half after i went to bed (and was asleep) that i left my pot roast cooking in the slow cooker...i jumped out of bed with the fervor of all mighty mongol warriors, my heart pounding like a 502 cubic inch V8, raved through the apartment in my undies and unplugged the slow cooker with a look of triumph in my eyes.
then it took me another hour to fall back asleep

That's a regular blunder for me. Just last week my wife and I bought some groceries at Target, including ice cream. As I always do, I put the groceries in the trunk of my car. We drove home and I somehow managed to forget to bring *ANY* of the groceries in.
Later than night, just as we were about to turn out the lights, my wife asked me if I had remembered to bring the groceries in.
Oh....
Oh...
NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
:( :( :(
Then we could talk about the many times I've put the milk in the cabinet and the potato chips in the refrigerator.

my wife was out of town last weekend and was scared to death I would like lose or kill our baby or burn down the house or something.
she had notes everywhere telling me when and what time to do everything.
right at 8:00 I have the baby the medicine just like I was supposed to
woke up the next morning - there was baby's medicine sitting open on the counter :(
it's supposed to be in the fridge!
so that's where I put it & pretended like nothing happened :D
baby is still doing good!

you all are funny!
reading these reminds me of the time this morning (lol!) when I was walking out the door and grabbed a bowl out of the cabinet to put my iced-tea-to-go in!
got 1/2 way to the fridge before I realized a cup would probably work better

Earlier this week, I made my husband dinner. I used some shredded cheese, and left it on the counter. The next day when he came home for lunch, he asks me "Sweetie, did you forget to put the cheese up last night?" *facepalm* On top of that, one of the cats nibbled on the corner of the package.
