Hi all,

Just wanted to throw this out there to any Ontario university/college student.

At my school York University we got ADHD coaching approved through the BWSD and students can get coaches if you qualify for OSAP.

Look into it if you think you can benefit from this.

It's helped me a lot with structure.

Good luck!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to do a quick follow up. I finished coaching and had a fantastic time. It was totally worth it.

My coach was Ari Petroff. His website is http://www.thecoachingaddvantage.org/

I'll write a more detailed report later of what we did and how it impacted me. Write now I need to get to work lol.

can you post a link to York University's website that says this? can't find BWSD on York University's website.

Does this just apply to York or to all other Ontario Universities?

thanks

I worked with him before. Hopefully he'll be more helpful to you than he was to me.

Michiko74, can you elaborate on what you mean. The reason I ask is that I've been working with him for around 5 months now and it's absolutely been one of the greatest decisions I have made. Just curious as to what your experience was like if you don't mind sharing. Just hoping for some clarification because my expereince has been completely positive.

Thanks very much.

How much do they charge if you're not a student? I'm looking for a place that does adult ADD treatment which includes counselling.

I worked with Ari P. a while ago and he's a THiEF! He kept charging me for sessions I never had- and when I was late for my first couple of sessions (a pretty common thing for someone with ADHD) he never called or texted me- I think he was hoping I'd totally miss the session he's being paid for anyway. My new coach is way better and actually understands people with ADHD- she always sends me messages if I'm late which is really helpful. She works with One Focus Total Success- they have lots of ADHD coaches to choose from (i'm with one of their executuve coaches for students) OneFocusTotalSuccess.com (http://www.onefocustotalsuccess.com)
