Have you found that evening exercise keeps you up all night when you are on your stimulant medication? One day I swam really hard at 8:00 pm and found out I could not get to sleep till 1:30 in the morning. I knew I had to take my stimulant early in the next morning and I felt edgey the next day. From that experience I have developed a morning program rather than an evening program because I require sleep at night. I am able to focus better in the morning when exercising.

i discovered that evening exercise kept me up by accident, before diagnosis and meds. i was teaching water fitness classes and my last class was from 8:30-9:15pm........... i could never get to sleep before 1 or 2am. quite a difficult thing to deal with when one had toddlers at the time!!!!!!!
I have found that swiming at night kept me up late everytime I did swim. I have found going on bike rides at night does not keep me up at all. These were rides that started around 6 and finsihed around 9.
Just a guess do you think it has something to do with the chlorine in the water?

Do you take your meds before your morning workout or after?
