So, as some of you may know, I've been ill for 4 and a bit months, hosp visits, doc visits, blah blah, got a few possibilities of what is happening but this doesn't seem to be going anywhere, so my mum is gonna try chasing up my eating disorder specialist and see when this appointment to see a CFS specialist at hospital is going to be, and discuss new developments, discuss symptoms, what I can even do... etc... http://www.enotalone.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_frown.gif

I have now come down with a virus, flu like. It's making everything worse.

I won't be around here, or posting at least, I'm seriously unwell right now and can hardly handle anything.

Take care all, hopefully will be back soon...

x

could be swine flu, as the UK has err... some 30 something confirmed cases of it, but then again, i dont think that matters. the 'normal' flu that hits us during winter is just as bad (and still more common).

hope it's just a cold and that it just feels worse because your body is weakened, but it'll go away much more quickly. a flu or a proper viral bronchitis or whatever is a right bummer because it lasts so long and drains much more energy than a cold, so i'm crossing my fingers that its just a common cold. :(

LOL, driver, seriously, you are so immature, I'm not even going to waste my time on you. :)

It is not the swine flu. I had not been out of the house to catch the swine flu around the time I got ill, nor had I been in contact of anyone who has it, I got this virus whatever it is/was from my sister as she was ill and it is clearing up thankfully. I am back to being in constant pain, exhaustion, and listless symptoms from the unknown disabling illness. :l

Anyway, cheers everyone else who says get well soon, I hope so, desperately. It's ruining my life, my mind, me. :/ Fun. -.-

Yah, defo sucks to be sick, especially when you havebeen for 4 months and more than 2 weeks, and especially when what you are ill with could potentially be life long and extremely disabling.

Thanks for your words most of you. x

D*** sarey pressed the wrong button and lost my post to you!!

check out addfibro.com for informational purposes

They discuss relation ship between attention deficit chronic fatique syndrome and fibromyalgia you might find this sight very informative!!

Also do an "ASK" search on the following question....

How do fibromyalgia, chronic fatique and attention deficit correspond???

Do you think this could apply to you honey???

My ed specialist thinks the boosters I got on 22nd december, the day this pretty much all started and progressed from, has overwhelmed my system and caused cfs/fibro... or something... I regret getting them now gah.

sigh.

And I am not sure they have, but it doesn't sound like it is mono as there are many symptoms, some not related to mono.
I imagine if I've had my bloods checked, it'd have shown irregularaties though which would indiciate such problem like mono.

sarey if you check out the addfibro web sight and do the search on ask that I mentioned above you will find that there has been research done in regards to fibromyalgia chronic fatique and attention deficit disorder are in some cases all due to the dopaminergic systems not working correctly and some people have been lucky enough to have most if not all of there symptoms improve when treated with (drum roll please) stimulants. Please look into it...

thanx katts
there is a fibromyalgia subforum here but not much action in it..
