does anyone else have general itchiness all over their body at bedtime? both my sons and I frequently experience this, it's very frustrating. The itching is very hard to ignore. It's related to a fear of the sensation of "letting go" into the sleep state. My body feels very strange and then the itching starts, when I scratch one place, another starts, and the sensation is very tantalizing and hard to ignore. Anyway.......my sons also complain of all of a sudden when they're in bed settling down, of feeling hot, when I touch their heads, they are hot, and I open all the windows....my younger son puts a wet face cloth on his forehead, etc...

My husband does this also. He has psoriasis though.

Little itches arrrggggghhhh! When one starts it all over. The only thing I can think of is to not use fabric softener, use a humidifier, and be sure to use lotion after a shower or bath. But what can I do when I could swear there's a bug crawling on me but there isn't one there? Will standing outside in freezing cold for awhile help? Jumping jacks?
