Hi, i been on Adderall 10mg (provided by a doc) for about 2 months now. When i first used to get it i would have a great feeling when i first took and would be vert focused, lately ive noticed that i don't have that same edge. I take a pill and i often chew my figures and it takes me some time to get focuesed. Am i getting used to the adderall? I was proscribed 10mg 4 times a day but i only take it once following an hour after breakfest (with breakfest i take my multi). Is there something i'm doing wrong or is my body just gettin used to this medicine? thanks

Do you take all 40 mgs at the same time and no more for the rest of the day? Are you on xr or ir? extended release or instant release? kind of hard to guess whats going on without a little more information,,

If its instant release you should spread it out over the day like every four hours to get more coverage for the day that is why the doctor prescribed it for you that way..adderal is short acting lucky to get four hours from any particular dose...

right now it would be hard for the doctor to tell how its working for you if you take it all at once...

If your only taking 10 mgs once a day of an ir you will not have full day coverage for the same reason stated above.. short acting meds need to be spaced through the day to be effictive!!

Have you always taken your multi with breakfast? Try taking the multi at a different time of the day (not right before you sleep though!)-- the multi can definitely interfere with the Adderall. Also remember to try and stay away from Vitamin C foods/highly acidic foods especially an hour before and after you take the dose.
