I've only taken generic Bupropion. I first took white pills with WIPI on them, then got the blue ones Zyban. I feel like the Zyban was not as dope as the White ones. Anyone else think Zyban isn't as good or is this just me?
Also how much do y'all pay for Namebrand w/ insurance?
and is it better? cuz I think it might be
I got regular wellbutrin awhile before they gave me the generic at the pharmacy.
The ingredients are exactly the same, it just doesnt have a brand name attached to it. I think it would be fine to keep taking the generic. When I ask doctors about it they're like just take the generic its the same exact thing.

Brand name vs generic Bupropion only differs in the XL version. Some research suggests that the way the generic (branded Budepropion) releases the extended dose is somehow different than how Wellbutrin releases is. Although this is disputed.
Zyban, however, is marketed I think for people looking to quit smoking.
But yeah it really depends on what dose you are on.
