I was expecting a speedy feeling, but I actually just feel normal... And people have been commenting that my speech patterns and thoughts have been coming out more fluently. My anxiety levels have actually dropped instead of gotten worse, which I was worried that might happen. This is only day 2 but It's going pretty good so far.

I do have a headache at the moment but I think that's because I got dehydrated from being out in the hot sun all day.

I'm on generic amphetamine salts 5mg twice daily.

10 mg total per day is a pretty low dosage, so if that works for you, great. It's good to start low and titrate up so your body gets used to the drug and you can see how much it will take to get the maximum benefit.

What are you taking for your GAD and PD?

I'm taking Adderall XR 30 mg daily. I didn't titrate up like most ppl. My pdoc started me out on 30 mg XR because I had already tried some leftover 20 mg XR pill my son had, and got good results from it. I asked for the 20 mg XR plus a smaller (5-10mg) IR booster, but my pdoc just put me on the 30 mg XR instead.

I usually take 1mg of Klonopin on days I know I'm going to have a lot of anxiety or have to deal with a lot of stressful situations. And I'm also on 450mg of Wellbutrin XL now too.

I was thinking about asking for a short acting benzo for just times when I'm having anxiety, but I'm beginning to feel like a pill junkie.

Hmmm...a lot of people on these boards say that Wellbutrin and Adderall combined can increase anxiety. Have you tried and SSRI for your MDD?

I have an Rx for .5 mg generic xanax, which I take as needed. I'm scared to get addicted to them, though. I was taking up to 1 mg a day if I felt panicky. I took half of one this morning and I'm going to do that from now on. I really don't want to use the xanax for long.

From what I hear, there are several SSRIs that should help w/your GAD and PD. Any particular reason you went w/Wellbutrin? Just curious.

Because I've had adverse reactions to every single SSRI i've ever tried, I will never take another one again. Wellbutrin...the first 2 weeks I started taking it....I said to myself, "Wow, it works!". How I knew Wellbutrin was working was my sense of humour came back and I've been cracking jokes again.

Sorry to double post, not sure if thats frowned upon in this forum but I hope this isn't the honey moon because I mean.... I still feel the same. The only way I'm able to tell if the Adderall has kicked in is my speech patterns get a little better and I'm able to concentrate a lot easier. I should also mention my eye contact with people is getting much better too.

It's been 2 days since your original post, lol. The "honeymoon" period usually lasts for a few weeks. You should still feel a benefit from your medication after that, it just won't feel amazing.
