Ok sorry I had to put that as my title, but I've been on Adderall, both XR and IR for about 6 months now. I had some side effects at the beginning, they went away, but now I have a new one. Lately I've noticed that I've been having this urge to go pee, eventhough I've gone just a few moments ago. I don't think I've ever had an UTI but from what I've read here I think I might have one and I also read that Adderall can give you UTI. Is this possible? I'm curious to see how many of you have experienced this. Now I'm not 100% sure I have an UTI, because I stayed last weekend at my sister's house and I forgot to bring my medicine, so I didn't take it Saturday or Sunday, and the funny urge to pee and mild cramps I've been feeling lately were gone. When I took my medicine Monday those feeling came right back. Can somebody please give me any explanation of why this is happening? I keep thinking of going to my dr. but when I wake up the next day I feel fine, it's only after I take the pill that they come back. Is this maybe another one of the Adderall side effects that eventually go away? If anybody experienced this, did it go away for you or should I have to change medicine. It would be a dissapointment because I really like how adderall is working for me, except for this recent side effect. Thanks in advance for any advice and excuse my long thread. Stimulants often act as a diuretic, causing you to need to pee. As for the UTI, no clue as I am a male and never had one. :D
