Hi there everyone,
I am quite new to this forum and to Concerta! I am 34 year old female and taking 36mg + 18mg top up. Started taking meds in April this year. I have noticed my hair falling out quite a lot! Other than that, the medication is great.
Can anybody else relate to this? I am seeing my doc this afternoon and will discuss it with him, but would like to stay on Concerta...but not if that means going bald!

Yes. It made my hair fall out for about 6 months. I would find lots of my blonde hair clogging up the shower drain. I was terrified that I'd go bald! I think it's because the medicine increases your testosterone, which causes baldness. Lucky for me, my body seems to have adjusted and my hair grew back. But those first 6 months were scary!
