I went in prepared, I had printed off two adult ADHD self-evaluations, made a one page bulleted list highlighting my daily struggles, and made another one page list of my reactions to the Lexapro he prescribed last week and why I think I don't need it.
It was smooth as silk. I was in and out in half an hour with a scrip for Adderall in my hand. :D Boy I sure hope it helps!
He prescribed 10mg IR generic and told me to split it half between breakfast and lunch for the first three or four days. I know it's a teeny-tiny dose that probably isn't going to make a big difference, but I'm off on the right foot. I'm getting started. I'm so relieved!
