For me, Concerta seems to work well for 5 hours. I am currently on 27 mg and going to ask about raising to 36mg.
Does anyone take Concerta twice a day ? Like half a dose early in the morning and then another half dose very early afternoon?
Curious if any Drs. prescribe it that way?
some people do. Another popular way is to have your doctor add some form of IR medication (Ritalin or Focalin) to take early in the morning or later in the day.

I have a friend that takes Concerta in the morning and then Ritalin in the afternoon.
This seems like a good combination and would give better control of when you want the drugs out of your system so you can sleep.
Also, the Concerta instructions state to NOT split or crush the pill. The membrane is designed to slowly release the meds.
