From time to time my son has told me and his teachers that he feels that he has to go to the bathroom a lot. At times he feels like he is going to wet his pants. He doesn't do this at home (or he hasn't complained about it). I know that he doesn't have an infection because he has NO other symptoms with it.
He will be 10 in September and I was wondering if the meds are affecting him or if maybe he is misinterpreting certain "feelings".

It seems to me that my son (age 8) had that happen when he was first on Adderall. He was always in the bathroom. Now though it has subsided.

It took about 4 week's for my son to get past this side effect. Remember some meds cause a person to feel extremely thirsty. We found that Koda took his Adderall in the morning, making him extremely thirsty during the day as a result he had many potty break's during class time. Make sure your son's teacher is aware that this is NOT his fault and to allow for more break's until his body adjust's to the med. I think having an accident at school would NOT be good for self esteem.

Yup, stimulant meds can make you do #1 AND #2. :o
