Happy mothers to those with human offspring. Speaking as a parrot mom (13, yes, 13 of them) I can't claim the huge sacrifice you all make. Thank god for you. I'd lose a baby in the first week. I raise my ice tea filled glass to you and thank you all for your enormously hard work, made even harder, yet more interesting, by ADD.

And thanks to my own mom who put up with me for 18 years at home and an additional 7 out of the home. She was always there for me, depsite my never living up to my potential. Despite my absent mindeness (including a late mother's day present).

They're pretty high-maintenance creatures, aren't they? And noisy? It doesn't sound that much unlike children. ;)

Funny the only people who seem to remember Mother' day is my internet friend's how sucky is that. Darn kid's, Darn husband awww well there's alway's Father's day *wink, wink*

My dog takes more work than most children-I kid you not! I am just grateful I don't have to send him to university!!!
