I check the box when replying:
Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies. Only registered users are eligible.

But I want out of the email nitices for a particular thread. Is this possible to unsubscribe? I could try replying again and uncheck the box that time.

Also, is it possible to get email notices on a given thread without actually posting?

Doh! I answered it: The USER CP shows threads from the last day and gives the option to unsubscribe.

+ Go to USER CP, Scroll down and then click on List Subscriptions
+ You have subscribed to all the threads in the list on the right.
+ You can change the subscription, by checking the box to the right of the thread, then selecting the new type of subscription, in the pull-down menu below the list.

No, You're not. There is a buddy list that you can pull up, so its easier to send a pm, or see which one of your buddies is online. Also, a "+" sign will appear next to their names on the "Who's online" list.
