Prices might vary by pharmacy, but I recall XR costs at least $200++ for a month's supply. The Generic XR is almost as expensive as the brand. Adderall XR is a rip-off. You could get the same amount of IR for $50 -- and it does the exact same thing, except that you have to remember to take it twice per day (4-5 hours apart).

Maybe even slight less of the IR generic, but yes the XR generic and brand are still within $40-50, I was told that the price might drop soon since its almost 6 months since the generic came out

I have group health insurance, in Seattle. They're generally cheaper than or the main drugstores around, but my Dr prescribed me 90 20mg pills of adderall XR and it was 459 dollars at group health, which was still over $100 cheaper than any other place, like costco and

in general, try to get price quotes, the more pills you get (oddly enough, it's not the dosage) the higher the cost. So don't let your Dr. prescribe you 60 15mg pills for a month, have them prescribe you 30 30mg pills. huge price dif.

$334.00 for sixty 25mg. Adderall XRs from Shire.

:eek::eek:Good grief!

My generic 10mg (x60) is less than $20 at Wal-Mart. It's not even enough to kick in my co-pay.

Well I got it and it was $322.00. that was the generic.

I am paying about $170 per month at a Walgreen's in Baltimore, MD for 30-20mg Adderall XR capsules. Highway Robbery! I always wonder why Adderall and other ADD/ADHD meds cannot be added to the $4/$10/$12 30 day supply of generics program offered by different pharmacies like WalMart, Target, CVS, Walgreen's.
