This is awesomesauce. Nice little explanation of ADD/ADHD, questions are answered, etc.

Canadian comedy legend Patrick McKenna is after the truth. “Everything you think you know about A.D.D. is wrong.” In this one hour documentary he talks to researchers, specialists and doctors about A.D.D. and A.D.H.D.. He also chats with ordinary Canadians & Americans who are directly dealing with the challenges of this common problem. Interwoven with these insights, Patrick shares his own life story and his struggle with undiagnosed and untreated A.D.H.D, and now his success taking it on Adult A.D.D.

I like this piece.

We are especially dated in the uk,our practicioners...or maybe the government has not made the courses available by saying adhd does not excist.

So wrong.

Glad to read some info on it.

I set the DVR to record that when it aired on PBS. In true AD/HD fashion, I forgot all about it.

Are you sure?! Stop me if I'm wrong - the UK government's advising physicians who made it through medical school and say ADHD doesn't exist - don't have ADHD themselves? Shocker.

This reminds me of that time when my brother in law hit a pothole on his motor bike. My sister was sitting behind him on the seat, and she asked him to stop because she thinks her coccyx is bruised or broken and she's in pain. He keeps dismissing her to this day - I mean, he wasn't in pain so what's the problem?

And oh yeah, my sister is not a whiner, and her husband on the other hand really knows how to elicit her pity for all it's worth when he's (frequently) in pain. Urgh.

ADD and loving it is a great documentary on adult adhd, very entertaining, engaging and informative. I played it at my adult ADD support group meeting this week and people really enjoyed it.

If people want ADD and loving it is now available to buy as a dvd. It's on the website of the people who created it totallyadd they also have some useful free videos there too
