Ill admit I am bit of a celebrity*****, I read US etc. I adore Britney Spears even though Im 27. However, I have often thought that the ultimate life for a person with ADD is that of a celebrity. I also have no doubt that many celebs today have add, and the undiagnosis is one of the reasons they struggle so much.
PINK admitted she has add in an article, saying thats the reason excercising on a treadmill everyday would drive her batty( me too btw) and Jessica Simpsons impulsive need to blurt out what ever the helck stupid thing she is thinking could certainly be add.. Also, because of how well I "know" Britney, I see certain things she does as being ADD. I know people like Robin Williams and Jim Carey have it, in fact there was a site at one time listing famous people with add. Does it make you feel more human when you see a celeb and know they have add? Of course, as I said originally, ADD is going to effect a celeb differant than us. I mean a celeb forgetting to go to a meeting obviously wont be "fired" but an average person might. Anyway, ill stop now as this is getting longwinded.

I think this is why so many celebrities make stupid statements about politics. They constantly have microphones in their faces and eventually they are going to blurt out something.

I've considered trying to become an actor or other talent-based job for that very reason, despite my knowledge of the odds against success...
Brit, I know for a FACT it's true b/c I used to work for one. And we got along absolutely GREAT ( he's Mr. Ring of Fire - OK, he has several Grammys but the man doesn't sleep) until an overorganized normie came along who wanted (and got) his job. So they CAN get rid of you eventually, even if you're a celeb - I just think you have to get your organizational support system in place before they catch on and then - ROCK ON!
Force, don't fight the odds, just try to CUT them. The guy I was talking about above; we were working on the business side (he had already done his creative thing) and now I'm working like mad on my creative stuff and have (already? finally? I guess it depends on what mood I'm in that day) had some offers to have some stuff licensed.
NOW if I can just hold on to the day job until that first royalty check comes in ...

Pink seems to me to have MANY undiagnosed issues. I think part of ADD and Adhd is that we are all creative as many actors are. Some of us cannot channel our creativity as far as stars seem to be able to do. I am sure many theatre people have ADD ADHD as well. I work in a theatre department and many of them show a lot of symptoms (although I can only guess). What about Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie? Do you think they have ADHD or Bi-Polar? Ill admit I am bit of a celebrity*****, I read US etc. I adore Britney Spears even though Im 27. I think I am just supposed to be a house wife or a teacher.

The question about Angelina Jolie -- I think Angelina admitted to being bipolar in an interview with Barbara Walters (?) a couple years ago. Certainly she has AD/HD traits.
So do many celebs actually, because of the nature of the profession they're in. Acting tends to be a creative profession, so does singing professionally, or any kind of creative art form.
