Last night, we had to put my cat Layla in one of the bathrooms temporarily. due to some household thing. Early this morning, she was gone, having found a way to open the door. No sign of her as yet. Please keep her in your thoughts.

There has been a good sign! a trash can has been scavenged with trash on the floor, something that never happens at our house.

good news!!!!!!!!!! Layla had been found :) :). It occured to my mom to go outside again, carrying and tapping on a food pouch. Her meow helped us find her! She is well, except that she might be getting sick. :):)

We had some real scares with out outdoor kitties being gone for days. One of them got hit by a car & he was such a sweetie but he had no fear, poor Moocho. The other came home, just needed to prowl and doesn't stay out any more like that.

Hope you don't mind me adding to your post it reminded me of one time when my ADD brain worked for me regarding my cat. Three days had gone by and I hadn't seen my out door cat. I was getting worried. In the middle of the night it came to me where she might be !

My landlord (they live in a house next to ours) I remembered seeing he had his shed door open ! ..... Yes, there she was locked in the shed !!!! ...lol... and ya know what? she didn't seem to care...

I'm glad you found you cat......
