I wish an alien would come to my house, abduct me and keep me as a pet on his or her homeworld. All I'd need is a large, grassy paddock to run around in, a comfy basket and a food dish. Well I guess I can see where they are coming from. Sort of. But they have a history of not understanding shyness and being impatient with shy ppl. When I was growing up, I was often criticized or scolded for being shy.

I hope my new vegetable dish that I make for tomorrow's potluck dinner turns out okay, especially because I'm using a spice I normally don't use and because the dish is improvised . . . I really should sew a button back onto these pants. I used to love these pants but the button popped off some months ago. I've had to hold them on with a safety pin because I've procrastinated sewing another button back on after the last replacement popped off too.

I was wearing my favorite worn jeans today. There's a dangling loop hanging off the bottom of the leg, where I step on it with my heel. I decided it was time to deal with the problem, so I grabbed the loop and gave it a hearty yank to rip it off. Well, the loop is still there, but now there is a rip that runs from the bottom of the left leg all the way up to the buttocks, making the left leg of my jeans look like chaps or something and making the thing completely unwearable. Sweet.

Loving my new coffee I received as a gift from my brother. It's called "hair bender" and is mighty good. I went online and found the stuff so now I know where to reorder it, as I will certainly do so. The site also listed a few other similar coffees that I might like to try if I liked the hair bender kind.

Heading off for the weekly family therapy session in a few minutes here. The therapists couch is so low and so soft that I have a horrible time getting out of it.
