i recently found this absolutely *awesome* software!
it helps me to prioritize things i need to get done, it helps me to put all my ideas (and they are many!) onto paper (something i find very hard to do by hand - my mind simply races *too* quickly for that...), and it helps me to organize things at work - i work at the local hospital as an information broker, and my job is to help patients (and doctors) find information on diseases and treatments.

you'll find a demo version at www.inspiration.com

yeah, it's absolutely *brilliant* for me - most of the time i'm unable to see/determine what the necessary steps are that i need to take in order to achieve what i want to achieve, and inspiration helps me to sort out what i need to do 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on...
i made this "chart" about "i'm going to get a job" (something i had *a lot* of trouble of achieving).
on the chart i listed my positive sides, my negative sides, what steps i had to take to achieve my goal - a job.
i also listed the people i have around me (something that was and is *very* neat to have in writing, because sometimes i feel as though all i am is a bothersome add/adhd-er, and "how can *anyone* stand being around me?"), and this helped me figure out "who" could help me with "what" step!

cool!

another thing that's "cool" is that i now have my very own avatar!

yes, its good for getting all your ideas out. and for us adders, we could construct the most complex 'mind map' probably of how exactly it looks visualy in our heads.

i love it, but my trial ran out after 2 days since i accidentally changed the calendar date on my coputer.

you can't get pirate copies of the software (cracksjust dont work on it!) so i'll have to fork out the money for it... in a few years.

This looks very interesting. I like the kidsinspiration too. I am such a visual learner this stuff really appeals to me. Thanks for sharing.

There are other programs out there that are for making flowcharts. They're basically the same sort of thing, but not specifically designed for mindmapping... more for business.

I like inspiration as well, but found that it takes too long to make it look nice, I'm a very visual person, so I need things to LOOK organized and neat for it to be appealing. I havn't taken the time to really get to know how to use it though.
