Why can I only find about 2 pairs of socks, when I buy a pack of anklets at target every year?

Why is it when I set something down, I can't find it minutes later! :eek:

I can relate to the sock thing. I will wear mismatching socks now...i've given up caring...too much, that is.

Why do I have boxes/garbage bags everywhere from when I cleaned out my car or drawers 6 months ago.

why I ask a question to someone and ask again a few minutes later if I had already asked that question.

Why I can make lists daily and weeks/months later still be working on many of the tasks.

I recently organized all my clothing, I found I had over a hundred pairs of socks, I would have sworn I had a maximum of say 10

Why is it that I can remember what I have to do, but not at the times when I need to do them?

I seem to mostly learn from my mistakes but why is it that I'm a champion at discovering new mistakes to make. Where's the learning value in that?

I know I don't even drive but I remember everything when I'm walking to the train station! I *may* remember to write it down later...

That I can look, yet not see; I can watch my martial arts instructor demonstrate something twenty times, he asks me if I 'got it' and I say 'yep', turn to my partner and freeze because I haven't got a clue what I'm supposed to be doing...

Logic

To be late is one thing - to search for your car in the parking hall for about 20 minutes is...annoying.

I swear there is an invisible sock-eating monster! :eek:

I'll never forget the time I just got back from clothes shopping and I had a new pair of white cargo pants. They disappeared at home, and we never found them! So unless they were still in the bag when we threw it out...but we never throw plastic bags out, we keep them to re-use them! So I have no idea where they went :(
And even if that time, we did throw the bag out, we would have noticed if they were in there!
