I've got exams coming up, and a few people in my year are allowed 20 minutes extra + in a seperate room as they have LD's. Just wondering if having ADHD would count for this? I could really do with the extra help as I get very distracted in exams.

I've tried asking some of the subject teachers but they don't know, help?

I don't know if it's different from place to place. In the US, you have to have a doctor verify your diagnosis and you work with a disabilities counselor at the school to develop accommodations. You aren't able to just say "I have ad/hd and need extra time".. plenty of hoops to jump through, but well worth it for many people.

If you don't have a disabilities office, try the guidance counselor's office. They should be able to point you in the right direction and help you out. You may need a proof of diagnosis from your doctor, but it shouldn't be too difficult. ADHD should definitely count.
