Hi I actually just wanted to ask a question on here. I've been trying to search on the internet about sensivity to smoke when having the common cold. I didn't find much but this site did pop up.

why is it when I have a cold I cannot breathe when anyone with a fag is ANYWHERE near me. I smell them before I see them. And funnily - it's the only thing I can smell!

I don't smoke and am very sensitive to smoke anyway. I work in a pub and take cough medicine when I go to bed after a shift.

First of all; am I on the right forum? *L*

- and has anyone here got the same problem?

Smoke is bad. Your lungs are more interested in protecting themselves when you are sick I would guess.

Find a better work place. It's likely to kill you. The evidence regarding second hand smoke is pretty substantial I gather.

Welcome to the forum. How long have you known you have add/adhd?

I'm just newly diagnosed last fall.
Cheers! Ian.
