Anyone been to this place and know if it's any good? I think the Doctor's name is Claydon... Also, does anyone know about how much it costs or have a ball park idea? I have insurance but it won't cover that. But I'm so sick of myself that I wouldn't mind paying, to a certain extent. Or if there are any other recommendations for doctors in vegas, I'll take 'em. I saw the post about good doctors in las vegas but it didn't really help me much.

A bit of background info: I'm new here. During my second year of college (three years ago) one of my biology professors suggested that I may have ADHD. Apparently I was tapping my pencil and vigorously shaking my leg and I was actually distracting him! I spoke with a counselor and then saw my GP (who I loved). After a few convos with my GP he suggested I have ADHD and prescribed me adderall. I blew it off, never filled the script, thinking I could be fine on my own. I kind of thought it was nonsense (and I'm a bio major, bad I know). He has sinced moved to California so I can't go back to him. Anyhow, I've come to a point where I can't handle it on my own and I need some help.

I don't know if it is better to go to a diff GP or to go to a specialist.

Corydon Clark! That's his name. Wow I was way off.
But that's all well and all but he is in practice in NV and his license is active. Sounds bad, but what he got put on probation for has nothing to do with his practices on ADHD. Maybe I'm crazy but that doesn't bother me.

I have read negative things about him,but I only looked for about five minutes,until I found this concrete evidence.

The guy didn't finish his probation,and jumped States.

I'm sure I could find more,but I'll leave that to someone else.
This is enough to convince me.:p

Part of his probation in NV said he was not to physically touch patients under 18,without a third party.

A psychiatrist is best,imo.

They can prescribe rx,and know more about ADHD,then a GP.

Many people have a hard time getting a GP to rx for ADHD,as well.

If you found a GP that would,it would be cheaper.

You're out of school?

Lots of members get a great price through their schools,it seems.

Yes I know, I actually read all of that before even asking here. It says there were some claims made and yes he was put on probation but to me it was more suspicious activity versus actual molestation. It could have been but from what I read, his practices could have been mistaken as suspicious when it may not have been at all. Just my opinion though.

I'm still in school, my last year actuaklly. My counselor referred me to a psych and I went to my gp cause I couldn't afford it at the time. If it's under 150 to see a psych, I am more than happy to. I suppose I will just keep searching and skip the GP route. Thank you :)
