Good Day All

I been using Vyvanse for a year now. I dont like the calming effect.

I was wondering what is the different between Vyvanse and Dexedrine?
and if someone switched between them?

and why did you switch?

Please waiting for your respond.

Well, if you have ADHD stimulants actually should produce a calming effect. All of them. Some might interpret your question as meaning you prefer to go untreated. Assuming that's not what you mean then I hope this helps.

I would not expect you to have a significant change in effect between Vyvanse and dex. This is because Vyvanse works in your body by being converted into dex. It just has a modified on/off curve.

If you want something that makes you feel more amped while treating your ADHD/ADD, then you want something with L isomer amphetamines which have a more systemic rather than more purely central nervous system effect. The most readily available is Adderall and it's generic equivalents.

Another option might be Provigil.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

Try Ritalin or Adderall, they have more of a "kick in the butt" feel to them.
