Hey Big, you got any idea where I would find a Canadian equivalent?

Paul,

That's an excellent question. While I check into that for you, I would encourage you to contact your local CHADD affiliate. Also, if any of our other members from Canada have information, please post it here as a response.

Thanks!

Andrew

Hey Big, what do these groups do? I mean, how do they help people? Thanks!

TY Big for the information I'm hoping it won't come in handy but I'll hold onto it just in case.

The listings are for the various state directors of each state's disability services program, which includes advocates.

Tina,

I wish you much good luck in your efforts.Your post brought back some definite memories for me.I went to App State for my Master's in Clin. Psych. and did my internship at Broughton State Hospital there in Morganton in 1975. I worked on the Token Economy Ward and tested on the Neuroscience Unit. I also stayed on afterwards and worked as a Technician on order to complete my thesis.I guess I lived there about 2 yrs or so and really loved it.One day I'd like to get back to NC and show my family where I went to school. My dad also worked at Broughton as a psychiatrist , but that was before I got there.

Once again, good luck !
Sincerely,
