1 head cabbage, chopped or grated
2 packs ramon noodles
4 tablespoons chopped and toasted almonds
2 tablespoons sunflower or seasame seeds
3/4 tsp pepper
3/4 tsp salt
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar

Chop cabbage, add toasted almonds, seeds, and broken up noodles.(save the season packets for the dressing).
Mix other ingrediants, including the seasoning and toss into salad. Chill. Best made early and left to chill for a few hours or overnight.
This is a very simple but yet tasty salad that is a hit at all our reunions.

That is one of my favorites! I take it to parties all of the time since it is quick, easy, and not to costly! I cheat and buy the pre-packaged coleslaw. If you like onions, green ones are great chopped and added to the mixture.

I use cashews.....I'll have to try almonds now!
